I've been under Dr Segil's care since Oct 2013. I came to him with many undiagnosed issues including headaches and vertigo. Dr Segil is very compassionate and doesn't BS you. Gets right to the point. He really works hard on getting to the bottom of what's wrong and helps treat you any way possible. I know a lot of people are saying the $500 annual fee is an issue. I don't agree. Before I met Dr Segil I saw another neurologist in Torrance who was absolutely useless. Couldn't get an appointment. Never a return call. Couldn't get test results. Dr Segil and his assistant Amalia are on top of everything. When I needed an MRI Dr Segil got me an appointment later that day. Unlike the other neurologist where I waited and waited. I once e-mailed Dr Segil a health concern I had that was freaking me out. He called me within 30 min to calm me down. I think the $500 fee pays for itself. A great neurologist is hard to find. Needless to say I'm feeling better thanks for Dr Segil and his great care.

Dr Segil sets new standards for bedside manners that few doctors will ever achieve. He truly is in a league all of his own. I had an MRI and before I got home 20 minutes later Dr Siegel called me on my cell phone to give me the results because it was Friday and he wanted me to have a good weekend. That sort of personalized attentiveness dates back to earlier generations when caring doctors made house calls. He's incredibly thorough and knowledgeable and explains everything in layman's terms so you're not left wondering what he was talking about as many condescending doctors these days will do. HIs front desk staff is incredibly helpful and efficient they too are the best I've come across. the $500 fee to see him will be the best money you ever spent in your life that's if you're looking for the best thorough treatment with calming bedside manner ism. Don't look any further. This is the guy!

Dr. Segil is a great neurologist and worth the cost to visit him.
On my most recent visit I was surprised to find out that starting in January 2014, he is going to be charging patients a fee in addition to insurance. He outlined why he is doing this and it makes sense with all the changes going on.

He treated me like a real person and clearly knew what he was doing. I'm one of those people that expects/demands that their doctor has both expertise in healing and a good bedside manner and Dr. Segil indeed has both. He explained what the tests were for and what was going on with my body. I will be returning to see him again to follow up on the studies he ordered and see if the medication he gave me helps.

My situation was stressful enough so I was glad to find a doc that treated me like a real person, with respect and empathy. An extra fee I can afford, anxiety I cannot.

“Dr. House of southern California” Found a rare condition in 15 minutes! I went a year and a half with 6 other specialists undergoing unnecessary treatments, injections, nerve blocks, etc. He is the best! Wonderful manner, professional, and caring.

Personally, I've always found it tough to locate a doctor with social skills. Cliff tops the chart in that area. I can always go to an appointment knowing both the issue at hand will be addressed, AND he'll talk to me like a human being, not a test subject. 

I have no trouble walking in and saying, "Hey Cliff, it's my birthday, ya gonna write me that prescription for Viagra?"

He knows his stuff too and is always prompt to reply one way or another.

"Relief begins at the table” feel better just by talking to Dr. Segil, that's how good is his bedside manner. I have seen him for two separate, unrelated conditions over the last two years, and he is able to treat and speak with me in a way that makes me feel that not only does he understand my medical condition from a scientific position, but he acts with care and really helps you through the treatment process. I can't recommend Dr. Segil enough. Office staff is very friendly and remembers me. He is a professional in every sense of the word

Dr. Segil has been helping me with a pinched nerve in my neck, which has been the most painful experience of my life. After failing to get help from a Chiropractor and massage therapist, my primary physician suggested him.

I was very impressed as soon as I walked into Dr. Segil's office I was greeted by a smiling receptionist who explained all the forms to me, and before I was even finished, the nurse came to get me. Dr. Segil was in very soon after. I felt relaxed and comfortable with his professionalism and demeanor. He took all the time I needed to answer questions and to perform a thorough examination. I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone needing a neurologist.
